Introduction to Acting, Class4!

Hello hello! WOW it's been so long since I've posted, my apologies. A lot has happened since my last post. I'm in Class 4 now, with the fabulous Mr. Dimos Vrysellas! I feel extremely lucky to have such awesome mentors. All of my mentors have just been fantastic, I can't ask for more. So far, I've done an acting shot. The assignment was to animate change of emotions. I chose a very confident super model falling while doing her cat walk, after the fall she becomes embarrassed and ashamed. I will upload the rendered version soon. Most recently I'm working on my very 1st shot with Bishop! I'm really excited to finally get to work with him. The concept is a Pre-Madonna Opera singer notices someone blowing bubbles during his rehearsal, he is less than pleased. He unleashes his wrath upon the poor souls around him. I have about 8 weeks to do the shot all together. Better get back to work! Will post soon ;)

Yikes! Class 3 already!

Hello there :) I can't believe I've completely missed posting all this time! I apologize for my lateness in updating. All is well and I can't be happier with my progress as a student as Animation Mentor. It has been such an honor having the greatest mentor teaching me how to animate. My class 2 mentor was Nick Bruno, who is a supervising animator at Blue Sky Studios. He was really straight forward with his teaching and I've learned a ton about not only animation and the industry from him. He will be well missed as I move on to my next class :) I have Mr. Jay Davis as a mentor for class 3, he is a super talented animator who's worked on Hell Boy : The Golden Army and many more great films. There is never a dull moment with him. I look forward in learning from him and having some great laughs XD So stay tuned for more of my progress!
